Reading Truck Equipment Returned Goods Policy
Warranty replacement part service is available from Reading Truck Equipment to our customers for equipment installed by Reading Truck Equipment but manufactured by others.
When warranty part service is requested or seeking part return credit, the following procedure will apply:
- Contact Reading Truck Equipment Customer Service to obtain proper authorization or RGA No. as required.
- Reading Truck Equipment Customer Service will help identify manufacturers part number required to initiate repair and assist in expeditious warranty satisfaction.
- Replacement parts will be shipped from Reading Truck Equipment stock or direct to customer from manufacturer stock. Reading Truck Equipment will invoice customer accordingly for replacement materials, but will credit the customer account upon return of defective material and successful reimbursement from the manufacturer.
- Rejected manufacturer’s claim will, after Reading Truck Equipment review, render Reading Truck Equipment customer invoicing current and customer will be expected to remit accordingly.
- Reading Truck Equipment will not accept invoices for unauthorized repairs or accept unauthorized returned material.
- Material returned to Reading Truck Equipment for credit consideration must have an RGA No assigned, be returned prepaid and will be subject to a 15% re-stocking charge.
